Western Electric Contractors Limited are one of the UK's leading utility contractors mainly focusing in construction, maintenance and repair of 11kV and 33kV overhead powerline systems, including wooden pole installation and removal.

Formed in 1996 by Paul Cull, WEC have worked in partnership with many leading utility principle contractors including Morgan Est, BTS Group and Keltbray Infrastucture Services, working on behalf, and directly with Distribution Network Operators including National Grid (ex Western Power Distribution) and currently UK Power Networks.

With our complete internal and external operation WEC offer a full turnkey solution for DNO's or principle contractors including Surveying, Project Managing, Planning, Field Management all including an ISO accredited IMS Workflow, everything the client and end user requires with emphasis on:

Our highly skilled, employed LE1 and LE2 Linesmen are fully trained and authorised in the latest OHL working techniques and levels, we invest in all our staff and help to maintain their skill knowledge and development, always looking at ways to improve. Our Project and Field managers offer over 25 years industry experience and work to latest legislations and policies ensuring customer and client satisfaction.

Our vehicle fleet of MEWP's, Pole erection lorry, Transit flatbed's, ancillary trailers and plant are all serviced and maintained regulaly and to the highest level.

We have an internal Health & Safety Officer and Auditor, Internal Management Workflow system, and staff trained in customer liaison care.
